Eugen Sorin Tanasie born (June 8, 1980 in Craiova, Romania) is a professional bantamweight Boxer.

Tanasie fought his first professional fight in Eberstalzell, Steyr, Oberosterreich, Austria on June 5th, 2004 against Marek Moticka, Tanasie won via TKO in the 3rd round. On September 23, 2005 in his hometown of Craiova, Romania Tanasie fought Gheorghe Ghiompirica for the Romanian bantamweight title in a 10 round fight, Tanasie won by Split decision. He fought Karim Quibir Lopez (31-2-1) in Valencia, Spain for the European Union bantamweight title, after 12 rounds of boxing Tanasie won via majority decision (116-114) (114-114) (115-114).
