Settimo Torinese is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 9 km northeast of Turin. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 47,372 and an area of 32.4 km2.[1]
The municipality of Settimo Torinese contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Fornacino and Mezzi Po.
Settimo Torinese borders the following municipalities: Leinì, Volpiano, Caselle Torinese, Brandizzo, San Raffaele Cimena, Borgaro Torinese, Gassino Torinese, Castiglione Torinese, Turin, San Mauro Torinese.
