I have searched through nearly 20 website and gone through every encyclopedia, dictionary, and naming book i could find. In absolutley NONE of these does it say what on earth the name Estella means. Is it "devil's child" or "false hope"? who knows! I sure don't. I'm 14 so I can't really do anything about it, but someone needs to find out what this name means! Please and thank you.
- Might be a big late, but Estella stems from the root "stella" meaning star. -- 05:24, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
