Espen Nystuen

Espen Nystuen (born December 19, 1981 in Kongsvinger) is a Norwegian footballer, currently playing central midfielder for Stabæk.

Nystuen previously played for Kongsvinger IL, being a first team regular on the midfield for several seasons, getting 10 goals in a total of 125 matches. A part of the community since he was a child, he had never played for any other club until he joined Stabæk ahead of the 2006 season. He is now wanted by several other clubs, but Stabæk is at the moment not willing to let him go.

Espen Nystuen is the son of former Kongsvinger IL player and coach Erik Nystuen.
