Esmail Davarfar was an Iranian actor, born on March 1933 in Tehran ,capital city of Iran, and died on 4th May 2008. He graduated from the faculty of Dramatic Arts in Tehran University. Later he traveled to United States to pursue his professional career.

The legendary actor, Esmail Davarfar remained one of Iran's premier actors throughout his lengthy career whose list of credits includes "Doost Ali Khan" in “ Dayee Jan Napoleon “ masterpiece. ^[1] .
