[edit] A staff list???

Surely a list of personnel is not necessary or appropriate in WP, particularly in regards to notability? I'm always glad for lots of info to be on WP. In general, I don't think notability is a test to be strictly applied - its breadth is one of the things that makes wikipedia special. But surely there are limits... Even more peculiar is the idea that they should be wikified, as though there would be an expectation that they might have a WP entry on the basis of working there. They may well be notable people, but not by virtue of being on the staff of a small regional news outlet, I'd have guessed. i have deleted the list for these reasons, but happy to discuss. hamiltonstone 05:28, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
