[edit] Lyrics

I've deleted the lyrics, suspecting that they have not been released under GFDL. If I'm wrong, please supply evidence that they are GFDL. -- Hoary 07:25, 2005 Mar 19 (UTC)

[edit] Contradiction

Either the song was covered by Jimmy Buffett, or it wasn't. We can't have two statements in this article stating, "Contrary to what many people may believe, this is not a Jimmy Buffett song, nor has he ever covered it on any of his albums," and "Performed by Jimmy Buffett in many live performances, never recorded," under the "Covers" section. -- {| class="wikitable" |- ! header 1 ! header 2 ! header 3 |- | row 1, cell 1 | row 1, cell 2 | row 1, cell 3 |- | row 2, cell 1 | row 2, cell 2 | row 2, cell 3 |} Buffett Cover Songs does not have an instance of Buffett ever playing this live, and most of the mentions on Buffett fan boards I've seen seems to indicate he's never done it live as well. -- --Chuckyg80s 16:47, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Shrek Reference

In Shrek, there's a moment where the talking mirror says "She likes Pina Coladas and likes getting caught in the rain". This sounds like a reference to this song if you ask me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by AlexFili (talkcontribs) 10:31, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
