Escadaria Selaron

Escadaria Selaron in Rio de Janeiro, is a famous set of stairs tiled by a Chilean artist called Selaron. The tiles come from all over the world, sent by visitors. There are 250 stairs and it is 125 metres long. Tiles are changed regularly causing the stairs to change as an evolving or mutating piece of art.

The work has had famous endorsements; one of the better known being Snoop Dogg who filmed there. The stairs have appeared in other film work.
