Seventh generation era edit- Could you point me at a confirmation for the Revolution as the next Nintendo platform's codename? Just so I can be sure myself, I've always dithered regarding it.

[edit] Redirects

While I support your move of Legend of Zelda series to The Legend of Zelda series, if you move a page you are responsible for fixing linking articles to link directly to the new title, which avoids double-redirects and technical problems. Please remember to do this when moving a page. Deco 23:43, 2 Nov 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Double redirects

I noticed you moved Mario Bros. remake series to Super Mario remake series. This is fine, but you forgot to fix double redirects after your move. For example, going to Super Mario Advance will stop at the first redirect - click it and you'll see what I mean. For a list of all double redirects, take a look at Special:Whatlinkshere/Super Mario remake series. It's the responsibility of the mover to fix double redirects. You missed a few, but I picked up the rest. Andre (talk) 00:56, Dec 13, 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Mario Mario

Please stop changing the Mario page to lack information on Mario and Luigi having the last name Mario. Though this fact was originated in the movie and the TV show, it is the only thing to explain why they are the "Mario Bros." Andre (talk) 00:02, Dec 24, 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Userpage

I would just like to suggest you create a userpage to tell a bit about yourself. Your name does not look good whilst red. OvenFresh² 01:43, 3 Jan 2005 (UTC)

[edit] You did look at the talk page, right?

It seems like we're having a minor edit war on the Classic NES Series [age - I posted comments about the criticisms you removed on on its talk page. I just wanted to know if you had read them before you removed the DK section again. -- Hbdragon88 01:27, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

Yes, the intent may have been to bring back the original NES, but things have changed. We are looking at these games from 2005, not 1985, and gamers (I've been citing GameSpot here a lot, I guess) expect more. They expect more for $20. Especially in the case of DK, with its pie level, or SMB, with the Lost Levels.
I think that my base argument here is that they are still criticisms. GameSpot was especailly hard on DK for not having the pie level. NA gamers assurdley wanted the Lost Levels ported over, since the last port was for the SNES. - Hbdragon88 06:14, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

C'mon, answer or something. I know you're there. Don't leave me hanging like this. I'm not going to restore the CNS bits to instigate an edit war, but I would like some response to my reponse listed above. Hbdragon88 01:04, 3 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 3RR

Please do not keep undoing other people's edits without discussing them first. This is considered impolite and unproductive. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you.. --DDG 15:56, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image Tagging for Image:FF_nintendo_2.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:FF_nintendo_2.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] Image source problem with Image:Super mario sunshine.jpg

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Super mario sunshine.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:56, 30 November 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- LAX 19:56, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:NESClassicGBA SuperMarioBros1boxart 160h.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:NESClassicGBA SuperMarioBros1boxart 160h.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. « ₣M₣ » 15:19, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
