Erwood (Welsh: Erwyd/Y Rhydd) is a village roughly 12 miles from Builth Wells, Powys. The Clettwr Brook runs through Erwood to join the River Wye. Erwood is overlooked by Twyn y Garth which is 325m. On the summit of Twyn y Garth is an Artillery gun. A picture of this gun can be seen on the sign for the Erwood Inn.
