Talk:Ernst Zinner
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ernst Zinner is still ALIVE!!!!
Very true. I believe that the author is conflating two different Ernst Zinners.
Unless, of course, the Ernst Zinner at WashU is an undead Science Lich or something.
I have removed the statements about Zinner being Austrian and at Washington University, St. Louis. The Zinner this article talks about is the astronomer who spent most of his life at Dr. Karl Remeis-Observatory in Bamberg, where he also rediscovered comet Giaccobini-Zinner. I hope to be able to add a more exhaustive biography of him sometime in the next months.
