[edit] How do I search for a topic in the AFD logs?
There's a topic/page that was once in the Wikipedia that has since gone through the AFD process and been deleted. I think the topic has merit. I'd like to look up the AFD log and read the complaints, to see if I can address them. I'd also like to find the original page, so I don't reinvent the wheel. How do I do these things? Thanks! Eric-Albert 00:11, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
- Special:Log/Delete often makes reference to the specific AFD an article went through to get deleted. Try checking there. -Royalguard11(Talk·Desk·Review Me!) 00:28, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] What should I do if I find a new, recently active vandal?
I happened across a vandalism edit made by anonymous user 75.33.234.22. Looking at the edits of this user, it's clear that all their edits are vandalism. All of them have already been reverted. Is there anything I can do to be helpful? In particular, I've noticed that some users have vandalism warnings on their pages. Is this the kind of thing that I should do (and, if so, which warning should I give to start), or will someone else with more authority eventually get around to it? Thanks! - Not much else. You can keep checking back on the user. Also, if you notice noone is doing anything about it you can report it on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. ---J.S (T/C) 06:09, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
