Eric Lam is a physics teacher, teaching in St. Joseph's Institution(SJI). He joined SJI 4 - 5 years ago and has been faithfully teaching physics to both upper and lower secondary classes.

[edit] Teaching Career
He is known to be a friendly teacher and very dedicated in his work. He is well liked in the classes he teaches and is said to bring the class to life. He is able to teach his lessons well and adds much humor to his lessons to make them ever more interesting! He is very helpful and helps to organize makeup classes for missed lessons. He is also willing to stay back in school and spend his time to help students in physics and lends them a hand even if they are not from his class. His teaching style is known to be firm and ensures that you are able to understand your work. He helps you to grasp physics concepts easily and makes informative notes for his students. He also knows how to enjoy himself outside class and has a work hard and play hard attitude. He constantly checks work to ensure you are kept on your toes for your coming exams. Being the form tutor of class 325, he upholds his duties well and has allowed them to do well in their academics. He has also bonded with his class which has helped them to attain the prize for the top class in interclass games.

He is very active outside the classroom and reaches out to many more students. He was currently involved in 2 Co-Curricular Activities(CCAs) which are St. John's Ambulance Brigade(Currently) and Robotics Club(Past). He has assisted them in attaining awards, notably the Gold award for SJAB in 2004, 2005 and 2006. His guidance in the CCAs have inspired many to strive for greater success He also helps to take part in various activities such as the milk run to raise funds for charity. He is participative in many school events and has lent his help in the organization and planning of the events. He is sporty and outgoing and interacts well with teachers and colleagues.
