[edit] Fried Green Tomatoes?

Is there a source that verifies that Boyer appears in this film? The IMDb does not list her, and the cast has been marked as "verified complete". If she had a speaking role, she most likely would have been credited, or perhaps credited under another name. 23skidoo 02:02, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

On second thought, I removed it completely. The IMDb lists neither Erica Boyer nor Amanda Gantt as being in this film, and if she had a speaking part she would most likely have been credited. A Google search failed to dig up any reference to Boyer/Gantt being in the film except for Mirrors of this Wikipedia article, which is never a good sign. If someone can provide a citation to prove she was in the film, please feel free to reinstate the information (with source cited). 23skidoo 03:36, 29 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Suspect Content

The information on this article seems to be a direct copy of this page: http://www.ericaboyeronline.com/erica_index.html --Art8641 18:10, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

  • Hmm... I compared the earliest version of this article and the info at ericaboyeronline.com, and they are practically identical. Now, I'm in a bit of an embarrassing situation here as I'm the one who created the article, but I'll be damned if I can remember where I took the text from. Back in my earliest days of editing on Wikipedia I was far less stringent about providing attribution and sourcing for my edits than I am now. I'm damn certain though I didn't take it from ericaboyeronline.com. If anything, I'm thinking I nicked it from the bio on the excalibur.com website, and ericaboyeronline took it from Wikipedia (which they're entitled to do). There are other sites run by the same underlying company such as annettehavenonline.com, and the style of the biography there was clearly written by a different person. In any case, I'll give the Wikipedia entry a rewrite over the next few days to remove the copyvio. Tabercil 23:55, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Revert of Aug. 28 rewrite

Editor Nasmformyzombie replaced article text with material sourced and cited from online merchants taken it bits and pieces, effectively turning the references section into a list of shops. These sources are trying to sell product and are obviously not encyclopedic. • Gene93k 11:12, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
