Eriogaster catax is a species of moth in the Lasiocampidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Eriogaster. It is found in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia, and Spain.
