Erin Everly

Erin Invicta Everly (born November 8, 1965 in Los Angeles ,California) is the daughter of Don Everly and the ex-wife of Axl Rose served as the inspiration for the Guns N' Roses hit Sweet Child o' Mine.

Everly is the daughter of Don Everly of the Everly Brothers and actress Venetia Stevenson. Her siblings are brother Edan Everly and sister Stacy Everly . Soap opera actress Anna Lee was her grandmother and Her grandfather was Robert Stevenson (director). She is also niece to Phil Everly from the Everly Brothers.
Erin Everly married Guns N' Roses lead singer, Axl Rose in Las Vegas on April 28, 1990, but their marriage was annulled in January, 1991. Everly dated actor David Arquette and in 1992 Everly briefly dated Donovan Leitch [1]
She later remarried to prominent Atlanta resident Jack Portman and have a son and daughter.

The Guns N' Roses' hit, Sweet Child o' Mine was written about Everly. She appeared in two music videos by Guns N' Roses: Sweet Child o' Mine and the unreleased video for "It's So Easy" which features Everly in S&M gear.
Rose and Everly met in 1986 and dated for many years before Axl spontaneously proposed, allegedly threatening to kill himself if she refused. They married in Las Vegas on April 28, 1990. One month later, Rose filed for divorce, but the two reconciled and decided to stay together. Everly's miscarriage further strained the marriage, and in 1991, the two had the marriage annulled.
In 1994, Everly filed a lawsuit against Rose, claiming that he physically abused her. The charges were settled out of court.
