Erik Janiš (born September 23, 1987) is a Czech racing driver, currently driving in A1 Grand Prix and International Formula Master. His manager is Antonín Charouz.

Erik started his career in 1994 in Go-Kart racing.[1] He won 4 Czech championships and 4 Czech International Go-Kart Championships.
- 2005 : Win the CIK-FIA European ICC Championship, Intercontinental C
- 2004 : 7th in the CIK-FIA European ICC Championship, Intercontinental C ; 5th in the German Go-Kart Championship
- 2002 : Win the Czech International Go-Kart Championship, ICA-J 100 class ; Win the Czech International Championship of circuit racing, Division 4 (under 1400cc(youngest winner in the history) ; 26th in the European Championship ICA Junior
- 2001 : Win the Czech International Go-Kart Championship, ICA-J 100 class ; Win the European Go-Kart Championship, Kadet Class (Green helmet ranking) ; Win the Golden Steering Wheel Award, go-kart category (youngest winner in the history)
- 2000 : Win the Czech International Go-Kart Championship, ICA-J 100 class ; 15th in the European Go-Kart Championship, Kadet Class (Green helmet ranking)
- 1999 : Win the Czech Go-Kart Championship, ICA-J 100 class and Win in Kadet Class ; Win the Czech Autoclub Award, go-kart category

In 2006, he finish 6th in the Ceska Pojistovna, Škoda Octavia Cup and win the championship the next year in 2007 with 4 wins.[1]
In 2007, Erik race also in FIA GT3 European Championship with a Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 with as best result a second place on Silverstone round with Jaromir Jirik.[2]

In 2007-08, Janiš join the A1 Team Czech Republic to take part of the A1 Grand Prix series as main driver.[3]
In 2008, he race as a Mercedes Benz factory pilot, in Formula 3 Euroseries with Team Mücke Motosport.[4]
