Eric Walter Nixon (born October 4, 1962 in Manchester) is a former English goalkeeper. His career spanned 22 years, nine of which were spent at Tranmere Rovers. He played for thirteen different clubs and made over 500 league appearances before his retirement in 2004. He now runs a health and fitness studio with his wife, Rachel, in Prenton, on the Wirral Peninsula.
In the 1986-87 season, he achieved the rare distinctions of playing for a club in all four divisions of the Football League.
