Eric Gibbons is an artist, living and working in Bordentown, New Jersey.[1] Born in 1966 as the son of Peter and Sharon Gibbons in Toledo, Ohio, Gibbons was able to draw before he was able to speak. (It should be noted that there are more than one artist by the name "Eric Gibbons" working in the USA today.)

In 2005 part of his gallery was converted [7] into a studio because of the popularity of his work. The gallery does have a small staff of volunteers and interns from area art colleges. [8]

Mr. Gibbons studied painting, drawing, calligraphy and ceramics in Osaka Japan at Kansai Gaidai University. He was featured in many exhibitions in the Osaka and Kyoto area. While in Egypt, he exhibited throughout the country, most notably at the American Conciliate in Alexandria, with a solo exhibition.

His work has been featured in international exhibitions of art in Los Angeles, New York City & Phoenix Arizona. His work was selected by the Carnegie Museum of History for a public work in Pittsburgh. His work has been in ARTnews[9] magazine more than a dozen times and other international publications.[10] His artwork is featured in 14 galleries in the USA, Puerto Vallarta Mexico and Paris France. He has written magazine articles about his teaching methods and innovative lessons and his book "Christian Voodoo" published by Schiffer Publishing is a history of superstitions in the Christian religion.

In 2005 Gibbons was a top 10 winner of the Staples Invention Quest Contest.[11] His invention, the "Digi-Dot" is available nation-wide. [12] [13]

His work can be found/archived in both public and private collections including [14], such places as the Guggenheim Museum, the New York Museum Of Modern Art, the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, Jeu de Paume of Paris, the Judy Garland Museum and many more.
