Eric Fensler

Eric Fensler is an independent American filmmaker from Chicago, known for his series of 25 parodical remixes of G.I. Joe Public Service Announcements (PSAs). The PSAs in their original form were short educational segments featured at the end of every G.I. Joe cartoon. Fensler replaced the dialogue and edited the video to create a series of bizarre and sometimes humorous shorts that have generated a cult following on the Internet.

On September 9, 2004, Fensler received a cease and desist letter from Hasbro who said his distribution of the films violates their G.I. Joe trademarks and copyrights. The films were later removed from Fensler's website, though still present at many other places on the internet. By June 2006, the original shorts are back on Fensler's site.
