Eric F. Billings (born 1954) is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of FBR Capital Markets Corporation (NYSE: FBR). He has held this position this since the company's formation in June 2006.[1] He has also served as a director of the Company since June 2006. Billings is also the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of FBR Group, a position he assumed in April 2005. Prior to April 2005, Billings served as Co-Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer of FBR Group.[2]
Billings is the brother of Jonathan Billings, who is head of institutional brokerage for the FBR Capital Markets Corporation. Billings serves on the boards of Wish Friends, Inc., The Washington Scholarship Fund and Catholic Charities.

Billings began his career in the securities industry in 1981 at Legg Mason. He was born in Boston, MA and is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Economics and Finance.
