Eric Blakeley

Eric Blakeley, MBE[1], born in 1965,[2] is a mountaineer, adventurer, and television journalist. He lives in Jersey. He has climbed the Seven Summits, the highest mountains on each continent, including Mount Everest.[3] He swam the English Channel in 2003.[4] He is a reporter for Channel Television.[5]

In 1997, he was awarded the Churchill Award for Courage by the States of Jersey, for his climb of Everest.[6]
