Erandol is located at 20.92° N 75.33° E.[1] It has an average elevation of 227 metres (744 feet).

As of 2001 India census,[2] Erandol had a population of 30,120. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Erandol has an average literacy rate of 65%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 72%, and female literacy is 57%. In Erandol, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.

pandavs stayed here for few months during their exile period and that monument is till in existence called as pandava's wada. Erandol is a charming town in Jalgaon District. It is located about 30 km away from Jalgaon. Nearby places of tourist interest include Padmalaya, Swinging Towers of Farkande and Pandava's Vada. Erandol was formarly known as Ek chakra nagari at the time of Pandavas & after that the name of the town was Arunawati. Near is a place where Ganpati Kshetra is there which is a in shashtra's known as "Purna Peeth" which is one of "Sade Teen Peeth" in India. Here is that place where Bhim had killed the mighty Bakasura.

Erandol situated on the banks of Anjani River, is the historical town in the district of Jalgaon formerly called as Khandesh. There is the centuries old Mosque called as Jama Masjid which is a worshipping place of the hindua. pandav wada has the beautiful inscription of Quranic verses on its wall which is worth looking. In erandol there are many Dargah of Sufi saints among which the famous one is of Hazrat Khurram Qattal Shah and Naththu Bapu.

There is a place called padav stable regarding which people of erandol says that the mahabharat Emperor pandav Has his horses tied over there during his Khandesh Expedition.
