User:Epbr123/My RFA criteria

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I will support a candidate if meet each of the following criteria.

  1. They have remained cool-headed and mature during all conflicts in the past three months.
Necessary to avoid abuse and the use of adminship as a weapon against enemies.
  2. They have significantly expanded at least one article.
Anyone who doesn't contribute to article writing won't fully understand how Wikipedia works.
  3. They have experience in at least one admin related area.
No user can use the tools correctly without experience in admin-related areas; not everything an admin needs to know is written down in guidelines, so hands-on experience is needed. I don't believe in giving the tools to users who will never use them, as this is admitting that adminship is more of an award. Admins are just janitors, and there's no shame for top article writers to be seen unfit for janitorial work.

The current vogues at RfA:

  1. Article writers with little admin-related experience are promoted.
  2. Users with admin-related experience but little article writing are rejected.
