[edit] Usage
This template {{Environment}} adds articles to Category:Environment articles by quality and is a self-reference. Please add to relevant articles' talk pages.
This template should be transcluded as {{Environment}} and not substituted {{subst:}} because it employs conditional code. Transclusion also allows easy updating of all the Project's talk pages without having to edit thousands of pages.
The template also employs several optional data field parameters as described below.
{{Environment
|class =
|nested =
|small =
}}

Descriptions of the options can be found at Environment/Quality scale.
- nested: Answer yes if the template is to be nested under {{WikiProjectBannerShell}} on a talk page with three or more banners. Leave blank if not yet.
- small: Answer yes if the template needs to be smaller and lined up vertically on the side of the talk page.
