Is Environmental management only about carrying capacity? I think it also deals with the value of the nature and people's perception of it. Besides, a holistic manner of management and its implications demand changes of social structures (maybe) and governance. Today's Environmental management, I think, has a much broader meaning than before and is evolving continuously.

sustainibility and sustainable development are huge parts of EM and should be mentioned.
