Enterprise is an unincorporated township, in Clark County, Nevada, United States. The population was 14,676 at the 2000 census, and was estimated by the Clark County Comprehensive Planning Department to have a population of 147,031 as of July 1, 2007.[1]. It is governed by the Clark County Commission, which does not have any members who reside in Enterprise. Clark County Commissioners voted unanimously in December 1996 to create Enterprise Township, the county's 14th unincorporated town.

Enterprise is located at 36°1′53″N, 115°11′53″W (36.031459, -115.198104)[2].

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 48.6 square miles (125.9 km²), all of it land.

As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 14,676 people, 5,917 households, and 3,804 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 301.9 people per square mile (116.6/km²). There were 6,609 housing units at an average density of 136.0/sq mi (52.5/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 82.30% White, 3.16% African American, 0.80% Native American, 5.19% Asian, 0.55% Pacific Islander, 4.04% from other races, and 3.96% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 12.03% of the population.

There were 5,917 households out of which 25.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.7% were married couples living together, 7.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 35.7% were non-families. 25.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.47 and the average family size was 2.97.

In the CDP the population was spread out with 20.5% under the age of 18, 8.9% from 18 to 24, 30.8% from 25 to 44, 28.4% from 45 to 64, and 11.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 39 years. For every 100 females there were 104.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 103.5 males.

The median income for a household in the CDP was $50,667, and the median income for a family was $54,841. Males had a median income of $36,971 versus $28,446 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $25,063. About 6.6% of families and 8.6% of the population were below the poverty line, including 12.1% of those under age 18 and 7.2% of those age 65 or over.
