[edit] Empi - also a striking technique

Isn't the romanisation "empi" also used for elbow techniques in karate? So, for example, mawashi empi uchi would be a round elbow strike. Perhaps this should be included in this section?

You're wrong. Empi and enpi are just different romanizations of the same word. In the Japanese writing system you simply cannot write empi and enpi differently. (I don't want to explain here how the Japanese writing systems and the romanization works.) Lelkesa 15:42, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
