Enova SF is a Norwegian government enterprise responsible for promotion of environmentally friendly producion and consumption of energy. Established in 2001, it is financed through government funding in addition to a tariff of 1 øre per kWh of electricity to consumers. The company is owned by the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy and based in Trondheim.

The main goals include energy production based on alternative renewable sources and reduction in consumption. Most of the promotions of Enova are through grants offered to individuals or companies based on documented effects in reduced consumption or related to renewable production. Enova also provides large amounts of information, printed and online, concerning energy efficiency.
