[edit] Re:Ninth Malaysia Plan

I removed it because the source is suspect. And seems to be original research, which violates WP:OR. __earth (Talk) 09:07, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

It is mentioned in PM's speech and I don't have to do extensive research to know that oil price had been increasing after 2003 Iraq invasion nor do I need to do much research about Malaysia recovering from Asian Financial crisis. Engkamalzack (talk) 02:48, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
Regardless whether you know or you do not know, citation is required, per WP:OR. The way you cited it made it suspect. For instance, how do you know that the increase in fuel price is exclusively due to invasion of Iraq and not from increased demand for China and India as well as other rising economies? Only a proper citation could answer that. "Common knowledge" which you alluded to your response earlier is not acceptable. That is the mistake many newbies do. This is not Malay Wikipedia where the standard of citation is low and not rigorous, like what you did earlier. __earth (Talk) 06:02, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
