Template talk:English cricket seasons to 1815

Jack, it's all very well setting up a template for every year, but will you find information for every year? I set it up initially only for those years where there's info in CricketArchive or Cricinfo, jguk 19:28, 30 August 2005 (UTC)

I've only just found this. I think a study of all the English season articles up to 1787 will emphatically support my case and even the currently incomplete articles from 1788 to 1815 contain much more info than the majority of 20th and 21st century season reviews. The case for a template is that the redlinks are a prompt to editors to create the articles. Incidentally, there is now information about all seasons in CricketArchive but I don't rely on that; and I refuse to use CricInfo's "historical material" unless there is absolutely no alternative and there seems a good chance it is actually correct. --BlackJack | ^{talk page} 08:09, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
