I keep adding the England flag to the English Language page, but for some reason it keeps getting taken away! Why shouldn't the England flag be added to the page about the English language? Thank you! --Camaeron (talk) 14:47, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

I proposed that the "Transport in" categories e.g. Category:Transport in Kent should be placed within the relevant "Geography of" e.g. Category:Geography of Kent. Any objection? Fayenatic london (talk) 12:13, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Selected bio

I think it would be a good idea to have a selected bio, I've seen it on a number of portals, and it might be a good idea to show off some promenant English people - it would obviously be as well as a selected bio and could be changed each month. The only problem is, we'll need one more thing to even the sections up, I'm currently thinking of what we could use. Ryan Postlethwaite 18:22, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

It might be a good idea to get a copy editor to look over upcoming articles before they appear. Several of the February set were riddled with typos or poor writing, which I've attempted to improve. Espresso Addict (talk) 15:36, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

I've just checked back and the Selected Quote is now a red link: Portal:England/Selected Quote/03 2008. Is anyone still maintaining this portal? I think it would be better to have static content than red links in a featured portal. Espresso Addict (talk) 00:43, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
