- Please work on asserting notability for this article. Right now there is no assertion of notability and it probably could get speedy deleted at any time. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt since I see that you are actively working on the article. You can find the notability criteria at Wikipedia:Notability (people). Right now the article reads that she is an artist who is a member of a professional painting club. You need to answer the question "Why does she stand out above the many thousands of people who are professional painters?" Did she win any major national or worldwide awards? Without evidence like this, it will be treated as a promotion for her and get deleted. Royalbroil 14:44, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
- Please do not remove notability tags. They are a way to notify editors to draw attention to the fact that someone has suggested that the article needs an improvement to its notability. This is not a deletion request. I am certain that the article would be deleted as it stands right now. Please focus on improving the article rather than worrying about this template. Articles up for deletion are clearly labeled, so you'll know. Royalbroil 20:21, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
- The way to show notability is to use articles from reliable sources to write the article. What about featured articles in major art websites, magazines, local papers like The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Brookfield paper, or Wisconsin State Journal? If she has not accomplished any of these, then the article will never be kept in a deletion discussion. Except possibly if her work has been featured in a major museum or she has accomplished something else big like that. For a more thorough analysis, please read WP:CREATIVE to see the notability standard that articles are expected to pass. Royalbroil 20:33, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
