Talk:End user retro-engineering
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is my first time to use wikipedia, and I am not sure why my pages keep getting deleted even before they are finished being edited. Why was this page deleted? What exactly is wrong with it?
The article was described in some sort of censorship as bizarre, which means unbelievable, fantastic, or grotesque. I am not sure how it fits that description, I tried to make it very concise, and useful.
Is wikipedia set up so that anything that is unique or foriegn to a particular censors personal experience is unwelcome? if so I will gladly discontiune use.
Also, I am not sure where or how to contact the censor, any help would be appreciated thank you Bill

[edit] Not encylopedic
Interesting sort of topic, but this is still more of a missive than an encyclopedia entry. Not good. 216.146.94.55 16:52, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
this page should get deleted. it sounds like original research, and there are no citations or anything that mark it as anything but. Bill-- the wikipedia doesn't carry original research. Quick google searches on the terms used return only links to this page, which is a bad sign. Find a couple articles in major publications about this topic and link them here and that would be a good start.
Response: I am flattered that this article has been called original research. Which It very well may be in its exact form; however, it is common knowledge among non-laymen, as is, with much of the the best knowledege. If that disposes it to the dustbin of Wiki, then that is unfortunate for the future of Wiki. Is there any place on the web where copyright free "original research" is accepted? I would be greatful for the link.
