This template is to help users write fair use rationales for screenshots of console emulators running non-free video games as required by WP:NFC. Include this in the image description page after the {{Non-free software screenshot}} or {{Non-free game screenshot}} template, once for each time you insert the screenshot graphic into an article.
Non-free / fair use media rationale - WARNING: {{{Article}}} does not appear to exist!
Check capitalization. Enter only the exact title of a single article with no [[link brackets]] or other formatting. It is also possible the indicated article was deleted.

This template takes arguments:
- Article
- the title of the article, without wiki markup (required)
- Game
- The title of the program run in an emulator (optional but recommended)
- Expiry
- the year in which the machine being emulated was first released, plus 96. For example a machine released in 1985 would have
Expiry=2081. (optional but recommended if Replaceability is not overridden) - Source
- source of the image (required if not a screenshot taken by the uploader)
- Description, Portion, Low_resolution, Purpose, Replaceability, other_information
- as with {{Non-free media rationale}}
