Emporia High School is a high school located in Emporia, Kansas. The school mascot is the Spartan. The school serves approximately 1100 students plus Seniors.
Emporia High School offers its students a wide variety of extra-curricular opportunities. Approximately 75% of EHS students participate in one of the many organizations. There is one head principal, four assistant principals, four counselors and over 150 teachers. Emporia High school is a comprehensive four-year high school with 11 academic departments, advanced-placement and honors courses, and opportunities for students to earn dual high school and college credit through Emporia State University. Juniors and seniors also have the option to attend class at Flint Hills Technical College across the street for a portion of the day. All students can be involved in the 43 activity and athletic programs.
