Emery Brown

Emery N. Brown, M.D., Ph.D. is an anesthesiologist at the Massachusetts General Hospital, with a primary research interest in the mechanisms of general anesthesia. He is a Professor of Anaesthesia at Harvard Medical School, Professor of Computational Neuroscience at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Professor of Health Sciences and Technology at the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology. In September 2007 he was inducted into the Institute of Medicine[1], and in October 2007 he was inducted into the American Association for the Advancement of Science.[2] In January 2008 he was inducted as an IEEE fellow.[3]
