AutoStart is a high availability solution by EMC Corporation. The product provides system level application failure protection to major data driven applications like SQL Server, Oracle Database, Microsoft Exchange Server etc. The product is available on both Unix and Windows platforms with the full list being: Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SuSE Enterprise Edition, IBM-AIX, HP-Unix, and Sun Solaris.
The product was developed by Legato which was later acquired by EMC in 2003.
