What is the corresponding force function? I assume it's just the derivative, Failed to parse (PNG conversion failed; check for correct installation of latex, dvips, gs, and convert): -\partial E/\partial \textbf{x_\ell} , all expanded out with the chain rule? —Ben FrantzDale 16:47, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
