The Embi Mole Rat (Tachyoryctes spalacinus) is a species of rodent in the Spalacidae family. It is endemic to Kenya. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montanes, moist savanna, arable land, pastureland, plantations , and heavily degraded former forest.
