| Embasaurus minax |
Embasaurus (meaning "Emba [River] lizard") is the name given to a genus of dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous. It was a theropod; the fossils were found in Kazakhstan in central Asia. As it is known only from fragmentary vertebrae, Embasaurus is considered a nomen dubium.
The type species, Embasaurus minax, was described by Riabinin in 1931. It is named after the Emba River.
