[edit] Keep Throwin'
The Keep Throwin' movement was started by Theodore Joseph MacDonald (The JMac) in the year 2006. The basic intent of the movement is to replace all valedictory phrases used in regular conversation with "Keep Throwin'." The phrase was derived as a way to tell someone goodbye and to remember to continue in pursuit of their Ultimate Frisbee aspirations. The movement hopes to replace all valedictory phrases such as "goodbye" and "see you later" by the year 2015.
The face of the movement is a deity known as the Ultima Llama. He appears as a tie-dye llama wearing sunglasses and a flower chain around his neck while holding a disc in his mouth. The Ultima Llama is the "Spirit of the Game" (SOTG) incarnate.
[edit] Usage of Keep Throwin'
"Keep Throwin'" can be shortened to "KT," though with newcomers to the phrase, it's often better to use the full "Keep Throwin'" in order to promote a full explanation and pass on the phrase to others. "Keep Throwin'" can also be substituted with a hand gesture symbolizing the motion of throwing a disc from the forehand position.
Correct Usage: Joe: Hey, well I need to go volunteer at my local animal shelter. Charlie: Go do that, it's time for me to feed the hungry. Keep Throwin' Joe: Keep Throwin'
Another Correct Usage: Signing emails with "KT, [your name]"
Incorrect Usage: Robber: Give me all your money or I'll shoot you. Keep Throwin!!!!
The KT movement has begun to spread around the world through its main portal, a Facebook group. Invite everyone you know to use KT as an expression of their respect for SOTG.
