Emanuel Tolbert (born December 2, 1958 in Little Rock, Arkansas) is a former slotback and wide receiver who played eleven seasons in the Canadian Football League, mainly for the Toronto Argonauts. He was a part of the Argonauts 1983 Grey Cup victory. Tolbert played college football at Southern Methodist University, where he was an All-American in 1978.
Tolbert was tried for and convicted of rape and violating a minor in 2001. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison for the rape plus four years for the violation, to be served concurrently.
