Elvin "Al" Papik was the 26th head college football coach for the Doane College Tigers located in Crete, Nebraska and he held that position for sixteen seasons, from 1955 until 1970. His coaching record at Doane was 80 wins, 52 losses, and 9 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2007 season, this ranks him second at Doane in total wins and tenth at Doane in winning percentage (0.599).[1]
