The article states that "Tradition among the Nandor of Ossiriand held that they [Elured and Elurin] were led to the safety of the woodlands by birds and beasts, and survived." In the article there is written "... they were seized by Curufin and Celegorm the Dark ..." but I think it is his brother Caranthir that was called the Dark. In the article is also written, that Curufin & Celegorm left them in the forest. I always thought, that some servants of Celegorm braught them there. I had not heard that Curufin hat an exact part in it. I sometimes read that Celegorm & Caranthir (or some of their fellows) did this.
