Elowa gihin melowa aawa is a play written by Ediriweera Sarachchandra. It is the story of a village family. The father is the village ralahamy. His wife is very foolish. Their daughter died. One day, a beggar comes to the house and claims to have died and come back again. The hamine is delighted. She askes whether he has seen her daughter. The hamine gives all the daughter's old things to the beggar to go and give her daughter. In the end, to see, the beggar is a clever thief.
