Elizabeth Bonner

Elizabeth "Beth" Bonner (born 1956) is a long-distance runner. She is most remembered for achievements in women's marathon in 1971. In that year she became the first winner of the women's division of the New York City Marathon. She also became the first woman to complete a marathon in under three hours by winning said marathon. In 1994 she was coaching in Louisiana.[1]
