Elite Hurdle

The Elite Hurdle is a Grade 2 National Hunt hurdle race in the United Kingdom for four-year-old and above horses. It is run over a distance of 2 miles (3,219 m) at Wincanton Racecourse in November. It is a limited handicap race. There are eight hurdles to be jumped in the race.
It was first run over 2 miles 110 yards at Cheltenham Racecourse in 1992, transferring to Wincanton Racecourse in 1994. Prior to 1998 it was run as a conditions race.
