Elias Blix (1836-1902) was a Norwegian poet, musician, and a politician for the Liberal Party. He worked with the famous Norwegian composer, Edwrard Grieg. Elias was Minister of Education and Church Affairs 1884-1885, member of the Council of State Division in Stockholm 1885-1886, and Minister of Education and Church Affairs again 1886-1888.
