Something is very wrong with this article. I initially changed what appeared to be vandalism. The article narrator in a sentence implied that he himself abused the elderly before. Later in the article it says "one billion elderly Americans" are abused each day. This is obviously not possible as there are not one billion Americans period, yet alone one billion elderly Americans. Has someone vandalized this article as a joke? This article may need to be locked.

I think the article needs development and I will work on it over the next few weeks. As indicated, there are some obvious changes that need to be made although it is fundamentally a good piece of work.
